In Greece there was a little sheep farm by the ocean, the farming family had lived there for generations and though poor, they were proud of the line of big strong sheep they had bred who gave such good wool and meat. Unusually intelligent and loyal to their shepherds, the sheep had good lives amongst the wind swept cliffs and olive trees.

One ram in particular, affectionately named named Aries by the farmers son, held a special place in the farmer's heart. Bigger than the others, spirited and adventurous, he would follow the farmer around almost like a dog and showed great affection to the old man and tolerated the grandchildren as they pulled his ears and sat on his great flat back.

When the strange infection took hold in the nearby village, those at the farm were spared because of their isolation. But soon the zombies began to wander in their search for food. The old farmer and his family managed to stave off the first few, but when the horde came lurching across the fields, they ran back to the farmhouse in terror. The big ram Aries seemed intuitively to know the lurching, rotting humans who shambled toward the house were a threat to his beloved farmer. Fiercely he defended his human family as he would his ewes, using his strength and great curled horns to batter the zombies back across the fields.

By sheer force of determination and his relentless energy he managed to drive them to the very cliffs, pushing the hungry undead to the very edge, sending them teetering over the it to splatter and dash to pieces on the rocks below. In time his strength failed however, and the great ram was overtaken and pushed back to the walls of the farmhouse itself before he fell. But he had taken so many of the zombies with him that the farmer and his family were able to make short work of the remaining starving undead and survive.

They buried Aries with honor on the cliffs he had made his brave and impossible stand on, and his story lives on in our zombie zodiac.

Sign Traits

The Aries Survivor
Perhaps because of the fire that drives them, Aries survivors need to keep busy, and will probably be the ones busy looking for boards to nail over the windows. Along with their busy nature and love of accomplishing things, the Aries survivor is great to have around for moral, as they're spirited and optimistic.

The Aries Zombie
The typical Aries zombie is prone to taking on more than it can chew, coupled with a stubborn streak that can sometimes find the Aries zombie stuck banging away at a brick wall to get at some safely protected survivor who's just laughing at them.
